Hey, I'm Amy
Hi, I’m Amy. I’m 31 years old and have spent the last 10 years working in the pet industry, driven by a lifelong love for dogs and a genuine passion for their wellbeing and happiness. Caring for animals has always been something that feels incredibly natural and important to me, and I truly believe our pets deserve patience, kindness, understanding, and quality care throughout every stage of their lives.
Over the years, I’ve completed my grooming qualification, pet first aid certification, and police check, and I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge further by studying dog behaviour through the Delta Institute. I’m passionate about understanding dogs on a deeper level and creating experiences where they feel safe, calm, and genuinely cared for.
A huge part of why I care so deeply comes from my own dog, Benson, my beautiful puggle who is truly my entire world. Recently navigating Benson’s cancer diagnosis has deepened my understanding of just how strong the bond between people and their pets really is. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to place your dog in someone else’s care, and how important compassionate support can be during both the happy and difficult moments of pet ownership.
My goal is to bring that same level of care, empathy, and genuine love for animals to the pet parents of the Southern Highlands, creating a supportive and trustworthy experience where both pets and owners feel comfortable, understood, and cared for.
